    Oi! Mr Dundee...

About 4 k’s from the metal pit where you park...

Looking like a 12. Bit fuzzy ‘cos he was a few hundred metres away and I’ve blown them up a bit. Heading to be a 12 or more.

And his sister near by...looks like she has dropped her fawn...

Saw 10 deer that we couldn’t shoot (hinds, velvet), so this one copped it on the way home. Low neck shot with the .223.

What is that Tahr? I presume a Red, but looks spotty and too big to be this years fawn.

    Well done on another one.

    2 year old Fallow doe.
No fawn, and empty (luckily). With her ears pricked forward and standing in the scrub I thought she was a spiker.

Looks like a fallow buck through my binoculars Tahr? The wind is blowing the wrong way up here tonight.

It was a rotten southerly last night. Brian was with me, and we had to revise our plans and do a big detour to hunt into the wind. All of the deer we saw were out of the wind in little basins and gullies.

For those of you who have a fetish for high class gear, and watch endless videos testing bipods and gear, well look no further...
The bipod on my .223 in the pic (above) is the ultimate expression of research, science and hunting perfection.
I researched for hours and hours...

And here it is, well worth stretching my budget for:

Has done everything I have asked of it. And is tough.
