Fine Crosshair Scopes - Can you still buy them?

Used to shoot bunnies full time some 20 years ago, and found the fine crosshair scopes to be super when aiming small. I have been hunting round for one but almost seems to be an old thing.

This was how simple they were

Does anyone know if these still exist and are they in an affordable .22 scope price bracket?

Leopold still do them in target scopes
    So do weaver

What people consider target scopes these days are Tactical long range scopes
Not target scopes built for the Sole purpose of putting holes in paper

A fine duplex is not what you would want in a long range hunting, prs etc scope which is what most Manufacturers are focused on as its the latest craze in shooting sports
It’s more Restricted to bench rest scopes and the likes where an ultra fine reticle is exactly what you want generally
Also look at fine duplex with 1/8moa target dot they are nice
One of my weaver’s has that it’s really nice the other one has the fine duplex as per your op

Might have a couple of cheaper but good 6-20+ Target scopes coming up
My mate is selling a few after we Aucklanders are win freedom
I know one is a nikko stearling target master and I think hes going to sell a couple of his well sort after japan made tasco ts24’s also (extremely good scopes from before tasco become trashco)

    Well stag external easy enough.
But I haven't found away to photograph the cross hairs yet, harder than I thought.
Where are the.Cecil b demilles when you need them.
I see it can be done, just my phone, shaking arms and fine cross hairs, a challenging afternoon.
You better be worth the exercise Stag.

Nikko Stirling and Sig ones at 55six are all slim cross hairs.

    https://55six.co.nz/product-category...?orderby=price

Edit: Hawke do super thin ones too with plenty in the 22LR price point. https://www.outdoorsupplies.co.nz/Hawke_Scopes.htm stocks them, along with a few other stores.

This one is a Leupold 4-12x40. Not the best pictures stag but should get the idea.

The only Weavers around now are second hand. Unless there are very old stock lurking on a shelf somewhere. Sadly Weaver ceased to exist several years ago otherwise I would have bought several more 4-16 EB-X Grand Slams, one of the nicest scopes around.

Thanks for posting these. They are still the plex reticle and quite fussy on trying to get the straight fine cross hairs. It was a 4x Nikko Stirling from memory, but ideal for in point shooting.

Someone else maybe interested, and welcome to speak up.
