    Sako Carbonlite stock refinish

Hey guys, I have a Sako carbonlite .223 dream rifle, Shoots the 77grn Belmont black into silly little groups out to 800y but i digress
the stock finish is showing lots of signs of wear.

love the finish on them are is the options for getting it redone?

Definitely not a warranty issue its been well used and has many fellow deer, rabbits, hares, goats plovers, and magpies under its belt.

Keen on seeing what comes out of this - I have the same rifle with a small amount of the factory finish peeling from the pistol grip.

@Scott Cowan what was the matte finish you used on your carbon stock builds?

From memory it was a nice flat finish and slightly grippy

....as good as a grippy rubber finish is, it's a super piss-off if it starts disappearing. The same problem appears on the 85 Finnlight models (can't speak for 75's).
    Do you have a solution?

Easy fix sell it to me and your problem will go away.

I had Creedmoor redone Murf precision down south they did an awesome job and is lasting well.

Does anyone know if the stock on the new 90 Peak is the same as the Carbon Lite?

I love rubbery tacki stocks, nothing better than something grippy to keep it in ye hands

But yes longevity seems to be the downfall of most & Carbonlites are probably the worst, I fuked mine in a weekend & then paint off my "work hands" went & stuck to the cunt, looked like a right mess

Great to see "Murf's" come up with a solution, Be interested in how it lasts n performs in the long term, what sort of dollars to get it done 25/08 Impy ?
Shoot it, root it & then BBQ it !!!
