There's a guy here in North Canty that does AMAZING barwork and engineering on 4wd's. He makes snorkels to suit as well.

Winch bar be good ,would leave the bullbar off.Hit anything solid with the bullbar will probably twist your chassis.
Toyota's a a bustard for doing it apparently . Mud collector for under your pedals would be smart .

What kind of mileage are you guys with 1KZTE surfs getting? I'm only getting around 400k's to 50 litres, roughly. Is that about what to expect?

For about $90 of diesel my '96 gets just shy of 650kms no matter what I do to it.

Yeah you're getting average fuel consumption there. The 1KZ Surfs can be a tad thirsty.

Muddies can make fuel consumption worse as well.

That's what I get out of '94 Hiace (60 litre) no matter what I do; no trailer, trailer, trailer with 3m of wet firewood.

I used to get 550k out of the 2.8 lux only time it would drop is off road where it can take a couple of hours to go a couple of ks.
When i supercharged it it dropped to 450-500k. Must have been a 60l tank but i never got more than 55 in it.
The cruiser can go anywhere from 900-450 k from 100l probably av about 650k
