    Backpack repairs in Tauranga

Does anyone know of a decent company/person that repairs outdoor gear, canvas, etc in Tauranga? I have a stuffed zip on my Markhor pack that needs repairing.

Talked to some local stores and they all send their repairs to Christchurch, which I don't want to do (waste $ on shipping).

Thanks @HNTMAD, the pack is probably covered under warranty (15 years?), so it may pay to hit the hunting store up again to sort. Will let you know.

Yeah. My Bestard boots. He did a great repair job. Unpicked the seams and stitched from the inside out rather than going through both layers which is the lazy way.

There's a lady in Greerton, just by Greerton Furnishing, she double stitched a leg of mutton leather scabbard for me by hand, a really great job and very reasonably priced. Worth a gander
