    Issues Registering a PLB

    Has anyone had issues registering their PLB.
    Purchased an ACR 400 and have created a login and tried to register multiple times on the website.
    No errors come up, but the system won't move to register it after entering the details - I have 100% got everything right

    Filled out the manual form and sent it to Beacons.org.nz and they set it was setup. Logged in and still no Beacon against my login.

    Is there anywhere else you can register them?

    Also, If I have it with me this weekend and set it off - I'm assuming they still come. It just won't have my contact details attached to it.

    Yes they will still send a chopper as the first option always, they just won't know who you are possibly. SAR only get called if chopper can't get in.

    Today I registered a new Kannad and had no problem. Took a while but like you I was double checking everything. Did you get an email from them with the link you click on to complete the process?

    If you completed the form and the Beacon team said it was set up, then all your ownership details and emergency contacts should be in the database. Give them another call and ask what info they have on file.
