Thread: Macpac Down vests on sale

Macpac have Uberlight down vests $80 and jackets$90 , superlight, packed into bag about can of coke size, but could be crammed smaller. not everyones cup of tea, but cheap enough as a backup layer on the tops.

Find vests are really handy, let you move around and not feel like the Michelan man

I might pick up a hooded Halo I reckon, I have an original (really original - its fairydown branded) Halo and its been brilliant, still looks and performs brand new, im not even sure when I got it but it has my name written inside it with felt pen which would have been done by my mum so have had it since my teens (31 now)

The old MacPac stuff was brilliant kit, so too was old fairydown, the new macpac stuff not so much, yes it's cheap, which is its saving grace, but if I was buying again I would be inclined to go Cactus...
