    Apparently the Cali was so prolific in the Nelson area that they were exported to England...imagine it!!!! the vest is fantastic...would love to know what his s/s was... the photographer was Frederick N. Jones of Nelson." and the photo was a 'dry plate glass negative'...I do not know what that means

    The New Zealand Kennel Club was established in 1886 but I am not sure when the first shows were held.
    You cannot help but wonder about the dogs...I like how the willow is placed in an obviously contrived manner for the photograph!!

    Call in at BJ Security office outside NN Pine Industries, Queen St Richmond and pick up a permit form. You will have to cough up the ridiculous sum of $50 but can drive into Golden Downs forest April to September. As they have been milling quite a bit the past few years there are some areas that your Pointers could have a really good run about on. You might even find a few quail but they don't like wet feet so after a week of sunshine is best (ha,ha). You can take the dogs and the gun for a nice walk tho.

    OK, Might have to try that. Gonna try snotting a pheasant first (along with everyone else).
    All those with dogs waiting no longer fear death. Those with many dogs waiting even welcome it in it's time.
