    Hey all,

    Greetings from Alaska .....
    Been lurking on and off, sneaking around undetected (I think)

    Thanks for the welcome gents,

    Been known to spin (embellish, exaggerate and/or otherwise lie) a huntin' n fishin' yarn or two, got a moose hunt I wrote about recently on another site I can share here I guess, once I earn my 5 post stripes

    Ok you asked for it, I'll just plagerize my own moose story and post it in the hunting section,

    have a buddy that got a wolverine this winter, chased it on a snowmachine for 30 miles across the tundra at speeds reaching 70 mph, hit it and ran over it 8 times with a 1000 lb snowmachine then shot it with a 500 S&W revolver emptying all 9 rounds in semi auto fire at point blank range then finished it off with winter tire chains ... Local newspaper ran a story about the "Rasputin" wolverine !

    but seriously, he caught it in a 330 conibear killer trap, was solid frozen when he came to the set, it didn't put up much of a fight, they ain't as tough as most folks make them out to be !
