Thread: Remington Wingmaster 870LW (.410)

Hey Team,


Considering selling my .410 Remington 870. Blued with Walnut furniture.

Ive had it a very long time but considering selling to fund a new rifle.


Barrel stamp says it was produced in 1977 so I guess you could consider it a vintage model.


I consider it in good used condition. I've been advised it may be worth upwards of $1500-$1800.

photos are a must...never seen one myself...seen photos of mossberg version..but a real wingmaster in .410...now that would be a thing to behold.

Its easy enough to give it the sniff test, just ask for a specific photo, i.e. looking down the bore, or with the slide right back.

Granted it is just a sniff test, and it won't guarantee that you aren't pouring sour milk in your coffee, but often a sniff test can guarantee that you are.

As far as people just being here to sell stuff, while not as beneficial as people that are here to contribute and sell stuff along the way, I have no problems if what they are selling is good.
I am sure if a new member came along who was genuinely selling LRM primers at non mark up prices, lack of post count wouldn't be held agains't them.

Yes this item warrants more due diligence than what a more familiar handle might require, but good luck finding a .410 870 anywhere else this week. If someone was in the market for this, then essentially the seller has made a positive contribution.

Pretty easy really, if post count is a problem dont buy their stuff....and move on with life
