    It takes 43 muscle's to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger pull.
    What more do we need? If we are above ground and breathing the rest is up to us!
    Rule 1: Treat every firearm as loaded
    Rule 2: Always point firearms in a safe direction
    Rule 3: Load a firearm only when ready to fire

    Rule 5: Check your firing zone

    He had blood on his leg this morning. Turned out it was a tumor so I had to make the call. Was a bit unexpected. I thought it was just a burst absess.

    Gibo got it....he has led one hell of a good life with you and the lad... you gave him the life any hunting breed of dog would love..and when time came,you have done right by your mate.
    its Ok to shed a tear or 50......
    they take a bit of our heart with them when they go.
    sit on a hill top and remember the good times.

    Most dogs never get the chance to live a life like your fella, he was blessed to have you as his master.

    Thanks for the kind words everyone. I'm going down to Clements tomorrow to bury him. We shot our first Deer together there.

    I think "you were blessed to be his human" says it better, at least that's how I've looked at it many times
