    Kids Compound advice

    Hi,
My 9 yr old son madly wants a compound bow, he used one on a school camp, but he said it was rubbish. I think it was one of the Mankung 12lb compound bows hunting and fishing sell for about $60.
He has used a 15lb recurve bow a bit, is there a reasonable bow that you can adjust up as he grows, I feel like the problem with compounds is he will outgrow quickly.

Go and see Advanced archery in Auckland if you can. There are a few models that are very adjustable in draw length and weight. Check out some of the models on Advanced archery’s website

Really depends how much you want to spend, marine deals have compound options between $150-$280. Recurve is good if you get the right weight they can grow with it to some degree and a lot simpler and lower maintenance.
