It was cold in there alright. Came out today and we had snow on friday night walking in, ground was pretty white on saturday morning. Few deer around though!

Thinking about doing a weekend mission into either the central or upper whirinaki huts this coming weekend. Has anyone been in the area recently? What are the animal numbers like and whats the bush...
