Its not so much the max length as it is the angles that are created with the shorter action, the lack of taper on the ackley case and the steeper shoulders... I have great feeding in the finnlight...

My COAL for my reamer on the 6.5x55BJAI with the 140 Amax is 75.1mm
COAL in my 6.5x47 with the 123 Amax is 67.36mm
260ai sounds the closest bet with a Short action..
Now you just getting cranky:grin:
U won't get that with the 6.5x47, Creedmore or standard 260Rem.
U may not get it with 260Ackley unless in a long action. Can't get it in a 6.5x55SE with 24"...
If its a Short action I wouldn't bother with a 6.5/284 or 6.5x55 Ackley or standard....

6.5 Creedmore
260 Rem
All good options....
