Thread: 145 eldx

Ive managed to get out and try the 145 eldx with superformance powder.

I worked up in .5 grain increments from 55 to 58 grains and had slight signs of pressure at 58gr. I’m getting around the 2850 at 57gr and 2865fps at 57.5gr.
I was expecting/hoping for a bit more speed than this.
Am I right in thinking this?

The barrel is actually 20 inch not 19 as I wrongfully posted originally.
Accuracy has been consistent but nothing special so far.

I’d say given it’s 20” that’s pretty good I load for one don’t no if it’s 2or 24 but it’s 2975ish with 57.5

Is this a 270?

Superformance not so good in this case, RL22, 23 or 26 would be ideal but don't you lot have H4350/4831 from ADI to play with?

Much better powders in terms of consistency.

Superformance is a go to in .270 here goes very well
