    22-243

    Gday, just put together a 22-243
    1/10’twist,
    Fired a few rounds am pretty happy so far
    Just wandering if there is any one running this calibre with what loads

    Careful you could wear the barrel out before you find a load, I think there is a 22-243 website

    Just got mine back from being built on Saturday, looking forward to seeing what it can do, I went with a 1:8 twist on mine as I has some 74g RWS projectiles that I want to get the best out of.

    The 1/8 is a good twist rate for the .22
    Got a 1/14 barrel here I might rechamber one day to see how fast the 40 and 50 grainers will go

    That would be dynamite with 53 grain Barnes bullets.
