2213 sc in the 300win mag with 150 sst

Hi I ve just loaded up a ladder test with 2213SC in my 300
    win mag.
Im using my favorite 150 SST
I started at 75.5 gn and worked up to 77.0
I thought that as i had 2213 id make good use of it.
Has any one else had experience with this combo, I thought maybe 3150 might be velocity.
Just got to wait for a chance to test it out.
    Stay off the ridgeline.
The only good assumption is to assume that movement, shape, colour, sound, is always human. Follow this rule and identify your target.

Hopefully that light a bullet and a SST isn't going to be to splatty when it hits things. The 300 Win Mag was designed for the 180 gr and the 200 gr is even better. Be interested to see how they perform on deer etc.

I use 2213SC in my .30-06 with 168 grain HPBT Hornadys, getting 2950 fps out of a 26" barrel. It is a bloody good powder if you have the barrel length to burn it.

    Yeah this...

My 150 SSTs out of my 308 at 2700fps are exploding thru animals. Making em go like rocketships out of a magnum seems wasted to me.

I might be wrong but I thought the ELD bullets use a new polymer tip that doesn't melt at speed. SSTs don't have it so might see some weird shit going on there.

There is no sensible reason I can see not to step up a little more in projectile weight and change away from SST for the winmag.
