Great. I just bought some more. Shoot really well in my .223's - 3130 fps from 20".
I got them 'cos Im out of 2206H for the heavies but have got cfe223 and w748 which the 55 shot well with.
I like them on wallaby cos Im still well armed for the odd deer I come across. They work really well on deer.

I plucked this one out of a Fallow I lung shot at 340 yards.

We might be getting somewhere. Thanks to @Tentman I may have identified a bedding issue. An attempt at a home fix is on the cards tomorrow and another attempt with the Fiocchi ammo on Monday.

Suspect number 1, the pillar is sitting proud. I'll try the supplier to see if they have any other stocks that aren't like this one before a fix up is attempted.

Thats a bit of a bummer considering its a new rifle. A bad look for Bergara.

It seems to be common to the 223 Extreme Hunters, mine was similar, and Stocky had one like it too.

Good on you for helping him out!
The one I had the tube was a dud eventually they agreed it was and gave me a refund, turned out it wasn't the only one unfortunately, was the stoke though not the extreme hunter.
Hope the op gets it going mint.

@Rated M for Magnum did you get this sorted, mine was the same and was throwing some pretty disappointing groups.

@Westie it is back with the retailer now. They will do their own testing and I'll get a verdict after that.

Best case scenario they sort it and it shoots how I expected it to sounds like it could be the end of the week before they shoot it though.

@Rated M for Magnum I have contacted bergara directly and also spoken with @Tentman who was extremely helpful. Bergara initially responded extremely quickly, I only emailed them about 10 minutes ago and I already had a response. I have included that there are countless people having the same issue so hoping they can point me in the right direction and confirm this is infact the issue. I will update here once I get a proper response back from them.

Im gutted for you guys. I know the excited expectation of getting a new rifle and can only imagine your disappointment. The up side is that things invariably get worked out and it turns out ok. At least by buying new and a reputable brand you ought to get good back up and service. I guarantee that in no time you will be worried about something else - thats the cycle of life - and in one way or other you will be banging out those .223 10 shot moa groups easy peasy.

Here is what I did to my stock. I got onto this from posts made by @Stocky a long time ago.

The B14 Stoke I had took quite a bit of messing with to get acceptable results . . .

    An early group:
