    I have hunted with my 270W quite a bit. Almost exclusively shooting 130 gn bullets of one or other flavour. It's been great for kills out to 400 yds. Can't precisely remember every animal shot but I think I'm right in saying I never lost one with 130 gn bullets. Did miss the odd one though  but very few.
    Worked up a good load for the Hornady ELD-X 145 gn but haven't killed anything with it yet.
