Soon to take delivery of my first .270 and looking at available projectiles, the highest BC I can find is .536 for 145 ELD-X. That’s reasonable, but lags well behind the 6.5, 7 mm and heavier .30s. There can’t be any reason for this than underinvestment by manufacturers. Come on Hornady, Berger, Sierra etc, please try a bit harder for us .270 (and WSM) followers.
Any advice out there regarding other offerings (not LRABs).

I found the 140gn Nosler ABs (MV 3000 fps) to be good killers in my 270win. You've always got your 30cal and 7mm magnums if you want to shoot a loooong way.
