Thanks dannyb, I have saved your load data, I wondered about 2225, adi showed higher velocities with lower pressure than 2217, it certainly works for you, I have never been able to get groups as good as that with my sako, you have made me think about loading a few longer length rounds to see what that does for accuracy, just won't be able to use the magazine.

I wouldn't bother loading longer than mag length, but that's just me. Don't be afraid to try more jump (load them shorter) the factory eldx are loaded quite short and shoot exceptionally well in every rifle I've seen them tried in.
Load in groups of 3 and look for most consistent speed, then start messing with your seating depth.
You can tune any load with seating depth but consistent velocity is where you will find your best load.
Sorry if telling you how to suck eggs

Thanks Dannyb, I was trying to shorten the jump to lands, I will do as you suggest, don't know anyone that reloads so going on Nathan Foster's book and ytube, will look for closest group before worrying about seating depth

When you say closest I assume you mean least speed variation, if not that's what you should be doing before you worry about fiddling seating depth to tighten up your group size.
