Thread: 280/6mm

Just wondering if anyone has done a 280 rem into a 6 mm? Would be deadly on varmits and deer. Thinking of getting one

Pretty common in the states cooper actually make rifles in this chambering. Would be excellent performing but dismall barrel life. Another is the 6/284

What's wrong with a .243/.243AI?

Din Collings has 6mm-06 and 6mm-06AI reamers. Could be good for investigating S.E.E

Thanks but that didn't teach me anything. I was asking if he needed to have a 6mm caliber rifle for what he wants. Sound's like he wants something for pest control but wants to be able to shoot deer and I don't know if they are restricted on what they can shoot deer with hence why I am asking if he needs it to be 6mm.

I know how it all works but when I see them I like asking about if there are other types of that I probably don't write it properly. It's hard putting what I mean onto paper sometimes

Go on ptg website and pick a bullet size open it and see the cals been done very very little not been done before. Still odd one that's not but not many
