    284 Win Collet Neck Die Options?

    Hey Folks, I like lee collet dies a lot and have been trying to find one for 284win. Seems they aren't available in NZ if they are even made at all. I have heard a 7x57 die may work with a bit of length taken off the bottom of the collet spacer, does anyone have experience with this?

    Don't know how recent this is. Used to send them cases with primer pockets drilled out (to get thru customs). Whether that includes their collet dies I do not know.
    The world has changed a bit and sending those items may not be easy any more.

    They do make 284 dies, ordinary ones as I have a set. Haven't seen collet and their website doesn't list them. The ordinary ones are producing great ammo for me though!

    Cheers, I was pretty sure they did not offer them as standard. I'd rather not deal with the hassle of ordering a custom one. To be honest, it would be faster and easier for me to make a collet from scratch myself, I'm going to figure out whether I can modify a 7x57 die before heading down that route.
