I find these projectiles are easier to use than cast bullets and they do not need crimping if you dies are good.
Cast bullets do need a good solid crimp jacketed not so much.
I would also consider faster powders as the Lyman cast bullet book has plenty of data as does ADI cowboy loads website.
Also Remington 110 gr round nose are good on wallabies and should do what you want.
