Thread: 300 Blackout loading with Frangible ammo

Hi All
i found some 30 carbine 100 grain flat base very much like Tokoroa cast but copper covered
i tried it on top of 5.0 grain AR 2205 it was indeed very quiet and on the mark @ 50m but in my excitement of a good group hahaa
i forgot to put the pointy bit up to get the powder back by the primer [not much in the 300 case by volume ] and i got a squid BOOGER
i have usually usually taped these out with a cleaning rod but the barrel liked the projectile better ....
Rang my Good Mate FSS and Darren shared a great tip on how to remove the squid ....you will have to ask him that sorry
What i have noticed in reloading that Lill gun is rather loud compared to other powders tis a pity as i have lots
I havent done enough posts to get on Buy/sell so if Tokoroa Cast could get intouch directly i would like a 100 x 130gn of the above post Please
