Hi! If need some head space gauges I've got a set of Okie coin gauges you can borrow . There not as easy to use as cartridge style gauges but the work very well when used properly!

Cheers for the .303 loads @P38

They have a neat little feature where they drive the projectile right around a deer at 20m but oh well. Plently of goats fell to my old girl today. Not bad for a open sight rifle with no rifling at the end of the barrel I thought. Though the deer would have been nice to give to someone

That one was rather funny, I shot the big one which dropped onto the small white one and trapped it, I walked right to it to finish it.

I think it was somewhere between 30-40 for the day, best part was 7 goats running up the track a head of us and 3 others that jumped off the side one was a big billy and my little brother and mate both wanted to shoot the billy so I had these other 7 to my self, I shot 5 for 6 shots then we drove up and got the other 2

    @Toby

No worries on the load data.

I think I know what causes those miss's, it's pretty simple really.

Lay off the Porn cos your eyes are going screwy.

    or

Your just naturally a piss poor shot

    or

You got Buck Fever ....... and your a piss poor shot

    or

    All of the above.

The goats only got hit because they saw you were gong to miss and quickly moved in front of the projectiles

    or

You fluked it because every dog has its day.

And remember Tradesman never blames his tools.

    Cheers
    Pete

P.S. Looks like a few good roasts and curries there ....... well except for the gut shot one that is
