My experience wit the 220 grain SMK in 300 BLK would suggest that it won't.

I managed to recover a few from Big Billy goats, shoulder shots and they were same shape with rifling marks. One had a deformed / skewed tip but I suspect thats because it was a through and through and hit a bank on the other side of the animal.

I had good results with cast lead with an aggressive hollow point.

For best results I would suggest forking out for Lehigh pills from @ODL.
