26" trueflite. Should get well above that with the sirocco 130. Was easy to achieve in the standard with a 140.

Dammit, I was looking to go 280 AI for a build but now I have something else to think about

There is bugger all in it, half a mil of copper most likely. Either or would be a great choice. The .280AI would be slightly more efficient and have a better barrel life I'd say.

Why did you pick the sirocco?. I'm trying them in my 6.5 06 because I want something that comes out the other side but I haven't shot any animals yet

    Hi Brian,
Because they are very accurate in my rifle, kill and have an excellent BC for a 130gr. Although I have only shot a dozen or so animals with them they have flattened everything from 10-771 yrds. My longest shot on an animal. A crook nanny thar.
A mate also uses them in his 6.5-06, a bit slower than I do and he has had the same results. Had a couple recovered from Thar shot over 400yrds and they weighed over 120grs IIRC
I loaded a 100rnds for him to take to South Africa, I have had one email so far saying how much he loves the load and that was it. So I assume he is shooting a few things and the swift is performing well in Africa.

I find the amaxes good for thar but they usually fall off something when hit anyway.Deer seem to move away 20 or 30 yds before dropping without much blood trail. Can make them hard to find in the scrub at dusk

I'm going to try some Siroccos in the 6.5 Saum this weekend if I don't end up hunting or something equally distracting

    They look very nice

TBF I have shot bugger all with either projectile to say if one is better than the other as I mainly use a .223 for spring/summer hunting. But what I have bodyshot with them have all been polaxed. The sirocco has mushroomed perfectly and stayed together and the A-max has killed but I found bugger all of the pills. I have used the sirocco up close and it worked. Never used the A-max close.
