About LinkBacksshooternz is right in that the 2.835" magazine length of a Remington short action will be restrictive for a Creedmore. With the reamer cut for freebore to keep the boattail junction just inside the neck the OAL for just touching is going to be up around 2.9".
The 6.5x47 will fit a Rem SA and allow for touch or jamming with typical throating; with a 0.17" freebore just touching with the 140gr ELD-M and 140gr VLD both give a OAL of 2.78", and 2.79" for the 130gr VLD (slightly different ogive from the 140 it appears).
