Thread: 7mm 140 Accubond and 140 Ballistic Tip dual load 284win

My 284 is going good with 162ELDXs but also loves the 140 Ballistic Tips. I’ve been thinking about a dual load as I’m still a bit old school and don’t mind a lighter projectile at higher velocity. My only worry with the BTs is big stags or Bull Thar. Would the 140 Accubond likely shoot to same POI given its the same BC and very similar shape. Has anyone poked these into bigger animals?

I have no reason to change but always keen to tinker around. And yes I spent 20 years shooting 139 Interlocks without ever worrying about bullet constitution or BC so I know a cup and core also works just fine
