    7mm Blaser Mag and 2217 or 2225

Anyone use 2217 or 2225 in their 7mm Blaser Mag with 180gr projectiles? Waiting for RL26 to arrive but want to have a play in the meantime (really just to sight in a scope). Thinking close to 70gr of 2217 or a bit more of 2225?

    Cheers

If it's not a first round hit you need to practice more

I run RL26, probably best to use 2225 or RL25 as alternative

I have 4 tins of RL26 coming so that will ultimately be what I use. In the meantime I have both 2217 and 2225 so thought I'd try 1 of them. Probably 2225 I think?

Have a look at @Kelton posts, he had a load with 2225, from memory it was in the low 70ish grains

    2225 if you don't have RL26

    70gr of 2225 gave 3,040fps with 180gr hybrids. Faster than I'd expected

I wasn't there when Blair shot it so haven't seen the target. He said it took 3 to get a rough zero then put magnetospeed on. Next 4 were pretty average then he took off the brake (just a random radial brake he had lying in the back of his gun cabinet). Next 2 were side by side and last round directly out left of them by couple of cm. He really just wanted to zero scope and have a quick play. Getting some eldms and RL26 this week coming hopefully
