    I built a custom 284win from a 7mm08 Tikka. Very easy conversion.

    Im getting 162s to 2780fps from a 18" barrel using 2209 with a load that is nice to brass. Makes nice little groups. 600m gun all day long.

    You should be able to get the same performance from the SAUM with a 16" barrel but powder selection becomes more important.
