I’m still running the same 46gr 2209 load at 2675fps through a 22in barrel.
Took a good stag at 700yds and a Chamois at 530yds on this years Roar hunt.
The load is slightly compressed but it shoots well.
Because I shoot an R93 Blaser I’m able to load long and use a long action magazine insert.
Would be single feed in most rifles I’d think.
My Tikka takes a long action 3006 mag at the moment (bolt stop removed) so can seat longer. I also have a R8 but not in 7mm.
Mate is running 162 ELDMs in his 17” tikka. They are doing 2620 using 47 grains of RL 17 - likely quite a hot load. But it puts multiple shots through the same hole and is one of the best lasers I’ve seen. The thing is deadly
