Theirs plenty of 168 vlds at my local but they wont be cheap at least you could secure a few hundred though

Superformance works well with the 178 gr eldx if you can source some.

Yes this, in my 30 284 (ballistic twin to 30-06) superformance and a 178 amax (or eldm) was magic from 0-600y

Yup and superformance may as well be rl26 cause its about as easy to come by

I'd be wanting 3 or 4 lbs to keep me going not 1 tub, I see it's advertised at reloaders up north but no way of shipping

any hunting bullet with a decent bc will do that sort of distance from a 30-06
doesn't need to be a match bullet

try the speer gold dot they have a stunning bc for a soft point hunting bullet
kill awsome too

yet to meet a rifle that doesn't like them ether

Have to laugh this thread answer most of the other threads on here.
A 30-06 appears to do well with any powder projectile combination.
Nothing else needed.
I admit to being slightly biased.

That was a good score Danny, my load with SF is 58 grains with the 178 gr ELDX , velocity average is 2780 fps.

careful......them partitions DO contain some magic...... its only my Scottish heritage that stops me using them....
