    It's relevant, you've just gone out of your way to select bullets with very similar ballistics coefficients rather than actual good bullets that someone looking for long range performance would use, so, whatever

    Your misreading my point. Which is- Dia. of your pill is largely irrelevant between 6.5, .277,7mm,.308 for coefficient. If you already knew this then why bother chiming in trying to derail the conversation with your smart alec attitude?

    It's not irrelevant, because to get a "good" BC in the .6 range with a .30 cal for example you're looking at a 210gr bullet, which has a LOT of recoil, and you need a case on the order of .300 win mag size to push it as fast as a .260 can push a .6BC bullet, for the same external ballistics.
