    Barnes TSX

My mate only uses 55gr TSX. Is anyone importing them into NZ? Mr Hannon says he has none.

This is for my old pig hunting mate whom we now chase reds. He shoots with an X Bolt. The TTSX does not group in his rifle at longer distances. The TSX kills everything from zero to the horizon. He ripped my ears off after I had loaded up the TTSX and they did not perform. He kills for meat not bone. Very demanding about his ammo. His motto is the F TSX works why the F do I need to experiment. Cant argue. He nailed a nice 9pt big fat red a few months back. Guess what he said as I gutted it.

As a sideline I saw on the Projectile Warehouse in Australia they post the long range pill for the 243 in Barnes but it is never seen here. Consumer preference?

I see hannon has got some 45grn ones on trademe..... they should be just as good if not better IF your mate isnt a barrel stretcher.... heck buy them anyway,if he doesnt like terminal preformance ,sell the part box...by then the price will be what you paid for them new.

@TeRei I'm sure your mate won't want to switch as MD has suggested above but I have some you can have if you want to try them
