Thread: Barnes ttsx jump anyone got any experience ?

    Barnes seem to like a bit of jump.

    @Brian uses 110 grn (or near that) TTSX out of his 6.5.06 I think at 3.3K and they flatten deer out past 300 yards.

    Ive used the Barnes LRX 129 grain in my 270wsm and they worked great out to 475 yds at 3,250fps. They have a higher BC than the TTSX and seem a bit more expandy.

    If you want to try an interesting bullet the .270 130 grain Federal Trophy Bonded Tip are excellent and expand well at all the ranges I've used them out to about 400 yards. I would load a pic of an expanded projectile if I could....but they end up as the classic mushroom.
