question for the black powder gurus, I have just bought a euro arms of America cal.45, it didn't come with any molds or info as it was from a deceased estate. my question is dose anyone have any knowledge of these rifles and what projectile works well? the end goal is to shoot a deer with it

Work out the twist with a tightly patched cleaning rod
    Push it right in
Pull out a little Mark the rod with a vivid line at the top and against the muzzle
Pull out until the line is back at the top
Make another Mark and measure between them
If it's slow twist make the first Mark on the bottom at the muzzle and stop when it's at the top
Measure and double because you've only done a half turn

Then come back and we can help

ok, shopping tomorrow for cleaning equipment. turns out everything I have is to small. the muzzle looks huge I assume its not a standard .45 brush? looks closer to a 410 shotgun
