A bit more bang is better.
Seems alot more hassle than the wet tumbler
And no where near as good results
Certainly gets them clean enough though… cheap and easy and doesn’t require a $3-600 tool which is always good
I want to try out my ultrasonic cleaner at some point, but nothing beats wet tumbling.
When case is in the lee thingy for trimming so in in chuck of drill.hold outside of case with Scotch Brite or similar abrasive material.couple or five seconds of rotating and it's all shiney again...
75/15/10 black powder matters

citric acid and dish soap, what the Yanks call Lemi-Shine.
Good, Fast, Cheap....choose any 2.
I seem to recall advice not to use Brasso as it rots the brass over time. Maybe doesn't matter if you're using it up rather than holding it. Ammonia content?
I know a lot but it seems less every day...
I just use a teaspoon of straight citric acid in the ultrasonic. They come out clean, but if you want super shiny brass this is probably not the method you are looking for.
What's the attraction with super shiny brass? Anything beyond aesthetics?

I dunno about super shiny brass, but i like shiny brass. Because:
1 You're more likely to find it if you eject a spent case in grass
2 I don't want to put grungy gritty brass through my dies and have it leave score marks on the inside.
3 Shiny Brass goes through the sizing die easier. (assuming it's properly lubed and not way out of spec)

I guess the method posted by the OP would take care of the ginger and grit and the YouTuber polished his by hand after soaking, so they'll be clean but dull. I might try some and put before, after and brand new pics up.

I tried this method. 5lb empty R17 can. 200 222 dirty cases. I large spoon of Sunlight. Juice of 4 lemons. Boiling hot water above cases. Good shake. Take cap off to relieve pressure. Couple odd shakes over 24 hours. Very clean. Surprised. Whacked into dehydrator after giving rinse in hot water to dry. Rate it. Cases deprimed first.
