You don't know when to wind ya neck in do ya?

Starting with the fact that you come from a place called Kogarah which is exactly the sort of sound a Feral Cheryl makes when she is trying to clear her throat of phlegm, then you come into another countries' chat thread and pronounce that we were all better off having less personal choice in what firearms we used before your coward compatriot did his little campaign, I'm starting to wonder if you have two brothers and a sister called chillo, skillo and willow (she'd be the fattest)

I actually miss my AR 10 and I have some Aussie dickhead to thank for it's confiscation and here you are, Brillo, telling me that I'm better off without it

    How about No?

How about Australians discovering the vast unsighted territory of leaving their noses out of other people's business?

I know that you won't be able to help yourself in trying to have the last word which will be a sure sign of your pathetic nature but frankly I am bored of matching wits with a man who wears cowboy boots to stop his knuckles dragging in the dust

Just bought 1k of Federal Small Rifle Primers for $219. Would I have liked to pay less? Definitely. Can I do something about it? Not really.
And it's still better then not to have any and not be able to shoot so no point getting all wound up about it. I just sell 6 goats to my Indian neighbor and I am even again. Might sell him 8 and I buy a packet of projectiles as well - easy.

Na, plenty of competition in the goat market up here, not like the primer market.

Would rather have primers to reload than not, still cheaper than buying factory ammunition. Have cheap ones and expensive ones on the shelf, means I have time to purchase more when I want too not when in need too.

I see the standard price coming back below $180/1000 but not below that.

We ,down here in south Canterbury, have very very few feral goats at all....funny thing is I miss having them to shoot... Just because they are so good for teaching folks with. Would have had a ball as a teenager had I owned the 223 instead of the 270 lol.

About midway through 2024 I was very low on Federal Magnum 215 primers ( before the White River magnum primers landed in NZ ) and was trying hard to find some. Was always too slow to grab any offered in the classifieds here. A good friend was asked to help dispose of some, unwanted by a guy emigrating overseas at the time. He had a full brick of 1,000 for $300.00 Bloody painful but I didn't hesitate and grabbed them. Simply didn't know when they might be available again, and at reasonable prices, if ever. When the pain subsided the satisfaction of having them was a great comfort. I found it bloody stressful getting that low at the time and being uncertain of obtaining more. Don't want to be there again.
I'm glad the trade supply side is looking up now, even if gradually. I hope NZ prices ease ( they should ) but I don't see them returning to the prices of a few years ago. The previous brick of the same primers I bought I'm sure was about $80.00 and I managed to buy those even as elsewhere the price had already breached $150.00 The last few years have been an interesting ride for sure.
