the mad scientist has returned from the lab
Egor my trusty assistant is now on half pay as ran out screaming halfway through proceedings.
learnings from the experiments
#1 jamming hand between die and hard surface hurts and causes blood blistering
#2 MRC .410 whackamole DOESNT resize the last 3/4" of a shell..bugger as that was my hope.
#3 the otherwise usless 3" long .410/12ga adaptors may have a use in resizing brass .410 shells (see darling the money wasnt wasted)
#4 a 45/70 case fails as cant quite get last 1/4" nearest rim to shrink inwards
#5 there IS a common enough size fishing sinker weighing 140ish grains that will resize to a nearly perfectly round .458 pill
#6 sometimes these things just need to stew away on back burner till all the bits fall into place
#7 half a dozen .444marlin cases would be really handy about now
#8 a very downloaded 444 case with usual .44 calibre projectile over load of black powder or using smokeless down load or trailboss may well be a hell of a lot easier and safer at end of day....
