Exactly the same with a different tip. Replaced the AMAX so hence why they are such good killers. You will find they work better with a slightly lower MV. Always ran any eldms i have used at no more than 2750fps (162 in 7mm, 140 in 6.5 and 168 in 308). Kevin(h&k man) got me onto them and have never looked back. Really keen to hear how the 130s go

They aren't exactly the same. They are very close but they did change a few other things in them including tweaking the ogive (or whatever you call the profile at the front. As well as the boat tail on some. But performance wise none I have heard of functionally differ from the A maxs.

I was using 143 Gr ELD-X's in my 6.5 06 until they were no longer available. Then I found a box of 130 Gr ELD-M's and have only just used the last of them. Longest shots so far with this new cannon were a stag at 512 and a pig at 420yds, both with the 130 Grainers.
In both cases they pretty much fell on the spot, so no issues there. Problem is now Ive run out and are in to 129 Gr Nosler LRAB's. Be surprised if theres much difference; I mean. dead is dead isn't it?
