Thread: Getting ES down with 223

Yes I've tried 53gn VMax, 50gn Speer TNT's, and 55gn Speer Gold Dots.

In theory the projectile is going to be a little harder to get going down the rifling which might cause a little more of a pressure spike as the bullet spins up, but that would be true of any projectile weight and to my mind should make it easier to get more consistent ignition. How do you think it might negatively effect ES/SD?
