I have been getting better grouping since doing this, is it me, is it the even friction, or is it the polishing effect?



Does the graphite vapourise and disappear or relocate to the bore?

I would think graphite is much the same as the moly coating craze that swept the shooting world a few years ago
if anything it would lower the friction in the neck a little may make it more consistent,
The burning powder gas temperature is what does the damage bullets not so much if you are worried about barrel wear
shoot cast bullets at 1500fps and your barrel will out last your grandkids.
