    The Creedmoor case is probably right on the edge of capacity for a small primer to spark up effectively

    The 308 case is bigger by around three grains of water but the powder used is faster burning so easier to ignite.

    Weak primers, slow powders, lower percentage case fill & cold weather can lead to hang fires
