Assuming you can buy the bullets you want in a ‘match’ or premium factory ammo line - there isn’t as much in it any more - I test up to 8 types in a rifle and find the one that suits is what I want to do - generally they are all the mid to upper price bracket however
Results .3 to .6 MOA with Match, all sub MOA pretty much seen a couple not however... - improvements on that with a better shooter for one thing so thats more practice time too
Reloading and tailoring it fully to that rifle will obtain better of course - but what accuracy do you need vs shooting time - pretty sure a good shooter and a average rifle will have a higher hit rate than a top notch rifle and poor (not practiced) / average shooter - i.e wind and actual real world shooting, not on a bench
I spend more time shooting this way; I also sell the brass which drops the price a bit too which is another factor
Of course, its also fun and something else to expand our hobbies - trying the different types of ammo is just as fun probably - any pew pew time is good time
