Not 50-55gr but I used 63gr Sierra Semi Point #1370 in my 1:14 22-250 shot very well, but I never got to shot a deer with it.
However Sierra recommend it as a small deer bullet, don't get confused and get the 65gr gameking these need a minimum of 1:10 twist
Another good bullet which I didn't get to try is a Nosler partion 60gr but the twist is listed as 1:12 minimum
22-250 is 1:14 Barnes 55 & 60 grain partion no good , currently using sierra 55g spbt had good results on deer out to 270y haven’t tried it further out yet .
