Some 1:12 barrels will stabilise up to 69 grain projectiles but some struggle with 63...
It will depend on the individual barrel and what type of bullets you use/what speeds you are running them at etc.

You SHOULD be fine with 63 grain pills but only testing will tell.

Glad I asked as got a few boxes heavier than those numbers but have not tried them so better not .. Using the 55Gr training ammo suppose stick with this
as good cheap option. Any idea what is the result out of curiosity if you do use projectiles too heavy for the twist ??
