Howa Super lite 6.5cm load sorted

Had my Howa SL for a few months now, shot Horny 143 precision ammo pretty good, sub inch but have been playing around with a few different pills 123 eldm's, 143 eldx's, 140 BT's etc with mixed results

    Thought I'd go heavy & try some 147 eldm's, seems I've found it's sweet spot - 147's 41g ADI 2209, Norma brass, Fed 210's & mag fit.

Only going pedestrian slow at an average of 2500fps but fuk me she's accurate for a super light weight rifle n barrel, the T1 Terminator definitely makes things easier, using a bipod certainly changes the POI but it will be used as a pack rifle so won't have anything fitted to the front, shot a couple of gongs off a bag & she worked mint even though it was quite windy.

Very impressed with the Howa = price - weight ( 2680grams all up ) & performance, a couple of the groups out of the four I shot

Good to hear. I know you have some pretty nice rifles, how do you think the superlite compares to the more top shelf stuff (very subjective I know)?

The Howa's great "bang for buck" aye, there's not much to hate about it really, especially for $2350 rrp

The fit & feel of the stock is nice, good trigger & it's so light & well balanced, I don't know what it would be like with a suppressor hanging off the end of that skinny tube but I'm not interested in putting a can on mine ( I don't see it as that sort of gun ) It's a little rough in a couple of places like the recoil pad fitting & I've heard of people bitching about the stock bedding but I see nothing to stress about & at the price point it's in, I reckon it blows similar speced rifles at twice the price into the weeds.

I really want one of these in .243 with a 1:8 twist if they would make one.

so no issues with the bolt which seems loose and thin?
and you dont feel 308 is too much for the lightweight ?

Would be lively in 308, I shoot sale weight in 6.5 creed and she jumps around a bit even supressed
