Nah for the 130,s go 2209/4350 or equivalent burn rate. I had a Sako .270 for many years and 4350 was much better with the 130,s I settled for 55 of 4831sc and 150 Hornady for everything.

I don't have 2209/H4350, I does have plenty of Re22 and IMR4451, the Re 23 is for a consistent summer load as Re22 is a bit temp sensitive.

I need help! quickload help that is...

In my current and past .270s
Ranges given due to rifle variance

    2213
    130 gn 61-63 gns for 3100 fps
    150 gn 58.5 gns 2800 -2850 fps

    RE 22
    140 gns -58 -59 gns 2950 fps
    145 gns as above

Start a couple gns lower. I use pmc brass mostly and LR primers.
Rifles a 700s so long throats, long mag and longer coal.

Just to be clear, I do know my away around loading .270 Win, but Re 23 and IMR4451 are new to me and I have plenty. I also have 2217 and 2213, just don't want to use them. Quickload gives info that I, and most reloading manuals don't have.

yeah fair enough bud...was rather puzzled by you asking re 2213 in first place.
I looked in aliant manual and nothing at all for the reloader 23 for .270 at all
    same with IMR paper manual

years back I thought would be clever and use AR2206H in the .270 win...and YES there are printed loads for it... in an older paper manual put out by manufacturer,
it worked, but accuracy wasnt overly great and case fill/volume was way below optimum.

maybe reinventing wheel isnt as good of idea as it may look.

what were the powders used in??? and can you sort of do cross reference thing from there...eg if the 25/06 it wont be too hard to be in ball park.

actually a quick search...and the official IMR/HODGDON reloading data site has 6 different combos for 4451 and the mighty .270 winchester.

    Something useful and always applicable:
    Slow powders with heavy tips.
There is still gunpowder left, the Grim Reaper can wait.
